Heat and Extreme Weather Policies
Melbourne & District Dances with Dogs Club aims to maintain a safe environment for all our attendees and their dogs during our classes at Dandenong Showgrounds and Bulla Dog Exhibition Centre. This also applies to any other venue where the club hosts an official class, workshop or demonstration.
With this aim, the Club applies the following policies.

At 6pm on the evening immediately prior to any Melbourne & District Dances with Dogs Club class, the Committee will check the official Bureau of Meteorology website regarding the forecast temperature for the day of the class. http://www.bom.gov.au/places/vic/melbourne/forecast/detailed/
If the 6pm forecast temperature for Melbourne is 32C or over, all classes for the following day will be immediately cancelled.
The Secretary will email all current financial club members with this decision and post it in the official Melbourne & District Dances with Dogs Club Facebook group.
